About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven
Structural Steel Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial steel projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years managing both the
fabrication and erection phases of structural steel projects, with a strong focus on quality, safety, budget control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage structural steel projects from pre-construction through closeout ("cradle to grave")
- Coordinate with internal teams (estimating, detailing, fabrication, field crews) to ensure seamless project execution
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, general contractors, and vendors
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material tracking
- Review and interpret construction documents, steel shop drawings, and erection plans
- Oversee fabrication timelines and logistics to support on-time delivery and erection
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual requirements
- Resolve project challenges and proactively mitigate risks
- Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed
Qualifications: - 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection
- Proven track record managing complex steel projects from start to finish
- Strong understanding of steel detailing, fabrication processes, and field erection practices
- Familiarity with AISC standards and relevant construction codes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (but not required)
Preferred Experience: - Experience with both public and private sector projects
- Knowledge of Tekla, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools
- Projects ranging from $1M-$20M+ in value
