Structural Steel Detailer / Checker
Location: Lodi, CA
Pay: $36–$40/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (On-site)
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Balance Staffing is currently seeking a Structural Steel Detailer/Checker for a leading company in the Lodi, CA area. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and check shop drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel projects

• Ensure drawings comply with AISC Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings & Bridges

• Utilize AutoCAD, Tekla, and related design software for detailing work

• Perform hands-on detailing as needed

• Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and erectors to ensure drawing accuracy

• Complete documentation and reports using Microsoft Office (preferred)

• Adhere to all safety and quality standards on the job

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in structural steel detailing and/or checking

• Strong knowledge of AISC standards and codes

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Tekla software

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
