Clinical Nurse Specialist Opportunity

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has potential opportunities for Registered Nurses Clinical Nurse Specialist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia and its associated Branch Health/Medical Clinics and Tricare Prime Clinics.

This contract position offers position within:

• Otolaryngology Clinic--- Possess a minimum experience of one (1) year within the last two (2) years as an RN working in medical-surgical or ENT clinical setting.
• Gastroenterology Clinic-- Possess a minimum experience of one (1) year within the last two (2) years as an RN working in medical-surgical or ENT clinical setting.
• Cardiology/ Vascular Clinics-- Possess a minimum experience of one (1) year within the last two (2) years as an RN working in a cardiothoracic, vascular, or cardiology clinical setting
• Wound Care Clinic-- Possess a minimum experience of one (1) year within the last two (2) years as an RN working in a wound care or inpatient and ambulatory care setting.
• Adult Medical Clinic-- Possess a minimum experience of one (1) year within the last two (2) years as an RN working in an internal medicine setting

Additional Position Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). May be a graduate of a state accredited professional nursing program OR a program accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience as an RN working in an outpatient acute care (hospital based) or ambulatory care setting within the last two years.
• Experience: One year of experience in nursing as identified in the TO after graduation.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required in the TO.
• BLS thru the American Heart Association
