Saint Luke’s Urgent Care in Mission Farms is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to be an integral part of our team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. This is a great opportunity for an experienced or entry level Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or an experienced or entry level Medical Assistant. The Work includes providing an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include conducting pre-visit plans, rooming patients and obtaining vitals, phlebotomy, administering injections and coordinating vaccines, assisting providers with procedures, utilizing the EMR system and scanning/downloading documents, conducting telephone screening (with protocols), and covering front office responsibilities as needed. The position requires a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and eagerness to be a team player. Saint Luke’s supports nurse engagement, values knowledge and expertise to improve patient outcomes and quality care, and offers competitive salaries and benefits packages. Job requirements include less than 1 year of applicable experience and certifications such as Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Medical Assistant (Certified) - Various.
