MAINTENANCE TECH I STARTING PAY: $19.03 - $21.00 PER HOUR DOE

Location:	Carlsbad, NM

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

This person works directly under the Facilities Manager or designee and is responsible for a wide range of exterior maintenance and grounds keeping duties at numerous buildings, grounds and related installations owned or under control, care, and custody of the county. Employee must be able to work independently and perform all duties with minimal supervision. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, attend job-related meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year relating to grounds, facilities, or industrial maintenance preferred
• Must successfully pass a criminal and employment background investigation
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. will be verified with E-Verify
• Must have, or ability to obtain, a current valid NM driver's license and be insurable by the County Insurance Authority

STARTING HIRING RANGE:

$19.03 - $21.00 PER HOUR DOE
