HR Assistant
Sacramento, CA

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department. As an HR Assistant, you’ll be responsible for providing administrative and human resources support, including but not limited to processing onboarding documents, processing benefits data, processing WC documents, processing I9 documents, and processing LOA. You will maintain personnel files and handle confidential information. This is a great opportunity to develop your HR skills and experience.

Pay: $26-$28/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Temp to Hire 

Duties and Responsibilities of HR Assistant 

• Onboarding documentation review and processing
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees.
• Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains books current.
• Assists with processing LOA
• Assists with Worker's Compensation reports/documentation  
• Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
• Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
• Prepares new employee files.
• Prepares all separation documents 
• Knowledgeable in ADP is a plus 

As an HR Assistant you’re good at:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills 
• Great attention to detail/accurate data entry 
• Keeping confidential information private
• Staying calm during difficult situations
• Office suite; MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Extra awesome:

• Must have previous HR assistant experience to be considered for the position
• 2-3 years of HR Assistant experience
