This role is responsible for fabricating, wiring, troubleshooting, analyzing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.What's in it For You: The opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environmentsThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our bestComprehensive benefits package starting day one of employment including medical, dental, vision, matching 401k, company paid pension, stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement and more!Click Here to see our benefits.What You Will Do: Fabricate, test and package equipment from blueprints, schematics and drawingsFit/plumb stainless and plastic/PVC pipe (largely, Schedule 80)Layout and engrave or print labelsPerform quality control checkout procedures on equipmentBuild pallets and cratesPrepare components for pre-assembly of finished productUse small equipment (parts washer, drill press, template punch, impact wrench)Measure out specific volumes of productProduce a consistent product every timeAssemble products according to instructionsOperate a forkliftOther duties as assignedPosition Details:Plant location: Green Tree, PA (Pittsburgh, PA)Work week and shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMCompensation package offered: $22.00 + / hour (Depending on experience)Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent1 year of previous experience in an equipment manufacturing field (examples: pump skids, custom work)No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunityPhysical Demands: This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50lbsAs a prerequisite, this position requires a passing drug screen and physical examPreferred Qualifications: Skilled trade degree or certificationProficiency with hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret basic blueprints, production drawings and Bills of MaterialMechanical aptitudeAbility to work in a shop environment (with exposure to dust, noise, odors)Basic computer skills (examples: data entry, internet, e-mail, etc.)Excellent communication skillsAbility to work independentlyPrevious forklift operating experienceAnnual or Hourly Compensation Range:$20.00 - $24.00 / hour. This role pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime.
