Executive Recruiter, Search & Consulting

We are working with the CFO of a law firm based in Washington D.C. Due to a recent promotion, they are looking for a dynamic Director of Finance to join their organization. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including relocation assistance!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all financial and accounting aspects of the firm including A/P, Banking, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Financial Systems
• Responsible for the annual budget preparation, including reporting of revenue, expense and capital budgets
• Responsible for preparation and distribution of various financial data and reports for Partner and Associate Evaluations
• Develops and reviews the firm’s accounting policies, processes and procedures, recommending and implementing changes as appropriate
• Work an ad-hoc strategic initiatives assigned by CFO and/ or Partners

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 10+ years of Finance/ Accounting leadership experience in a Law Firm or the Professional Services industry
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills

PREFERENCES:

• CPA or MBA
• Exposure to Legal ERP systems including Elite
