What You'll Do:

As the Assistant Manager, you'll be the crucial link between the corporate strategy and dealership service bays. Your mission is to empower the dealer network by managing the entire lifecycle of essential tools and equipment.

  • Lead & Develop: Manage, mentor, and grow a dedicated team of 3-5 professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Drive Market Actions: Coordinate all tool and equipment support for critical initiatives, including recalls, service campaigns, product updates, and new model launches.
  • Shape Strategy: Define and enforce best practices for tool development, procurement, and quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and top-tier performance.
  • Manage Key Projects: Direct tool evaluation activities, identify needs for new service technology projects, and communicate service readiness status directly to upper management.
  • Be the Dealer Advocate: Maintain open communication with the dealer partners to deeply understand their service needs and champion solutions that boost their efficiency and profitability.

What You Bring:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in automotive technology and a proven track record of leadership.

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, a relevant engineering field, or equivalent work experience. You'll also have:
  • 5-8+ years in the automotive industry
  • 4+ years of team lead or management experience
  • 4+ years in dealer service and fixed operations
  • 4+ years in automotive tool and equipment development
  • Core Skills: You're a natural leader with exceptional skills in:
  • Leadership & Project Management: You can guide a team and manage complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Communication: Your written, verbal, and executive presentation skills are top-notch.
  • Supplier Management: You have strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical & Organizational: You can analyze data, identify trends, and keep everything on track.
