DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately perform data entry of invoices into accounting system
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and organize financial documents for review.
  • Assist in the processing and verification of invoices.
  • Organize, file and maintain accounts payable department files.
  • Maintain AP files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • All other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager or CFO.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, teamwork and follow up skills
  • Data entry skills, general math skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft software
  • Excellent computer skills to include Word, Outlook and Excel; accounting software experience
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
  • The ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to ensure the finance department runs smoothly; assisting in areas outside your scope of responsibility when necessary
